I’m in the County, bitch!!!
THAT REMINDS MEEE!
Instead of playing “I’m in Miami Trick” around here, they play “I’m in West Palm Beach Trick”, and it just sounds ridonkulous.
They play “I’m in Miami Trick” in Springfield, but up near Chicago they’ve been playing “I’m in Chicago Trick.”

Today, it was my wedding day, and while I was standing next to my husband in front of all of our guests, I was rocking on my heels because I was nervous. I rocked too far and fell backward. My husband didn’t come to help me up. He just said at the top of his lungs, “FAIL!” FML

latenightconfusion:
i learned 2 things
1) it is not possible to trick yourself into being happy, and
2) there are levels of sadness, and depending on where you measure up, certain experiences that would usually be sad don’t affect you
example: i went to see my sister’s keeper tonight. there’s a part in the movie where the song “feels like home to me” plays…all the way through. this was one of the staple songs in my prior relationship. it took everything i had not to make any noise, but the waterworks were ridiculous. then, at the major tearjerker scene, i felt nothing. if anything, i felt like there was something wrong with me for not feeling the need to cry. it was just blank. if you’ve seen the movie and know what i’m talking about, you know that this is serious. i just didn’t realize how sad i was…which brings me back to the 1st thing i learned tonight…
i promise i’m trying guys
It just takes time :/ and unfortunately a lot of it. Just try to stay as busy as you can and whatever you do you can’t let her get to you. No matter how many texts or messages she sends you have to ignore them which i know will be difficult because there is so much emotion there. But just stick to that and surround yourself with close friends. Once school starts again it’ll get better i promise =)

Today, my family was preparing a turkey for my grandma’s birthday dinner when my aunt noticed a utensil on the counter and asked what it was for. My mom said it was used to keep the turkey’s legs together. My aunt responded to her by saying, “Maybe you should get one for your daughter.” FML

The other day my friend started a facebook group basically about gay awareness at our high school (Catholic) and he posted some excerpts from The Catechism of the Catholic Church which is like their supplement to the Bible and I just found one that was particularly interesting:
2358 The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God’s will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord’s Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition.
It actually refers to homosexuality as a “condition.” Really?? This is why I am no longer a part of the Catholic Church. I just can’t believe a global institution can be this outdated and ignorant.
